AAL Policy

Anywhere, Anytime Learning

AAL allows staff and students to access resources for learning via any internet enabled devices (mobile phones, tablets, laptops, etc.) from any classroom in the school. This offers the opportunity to engage learners in the highest quality learning activities, using mobile devices to communicate, collaborate, research, share and expand knowledge.

Among the many benefits AAL has to offer, the use of mobile devices in the classroom will enable:

  • Easy access to the internet
  • The ability to download lessons and resources ‘on the go’
  • The ability to use forums for educational discussion easily
  • An opportunity to learn about using technology safely and wisely

It is expected that all users of AAL will behave in a responsible manner to make the most of the many benefits it offers.

Inveralmond Community High School’s ‘AAL Responsible User Policy’ will be found in every classroom in the school and can also be seen below;
